The
Youth Summit

The Youth Summit will host a panel consisting of a diverse group of individuals, including current and retired professionals of various ages, college students, non-professionals, and parents. This panel will engage with our youth to discuss a broad range of important topics. The discussions will cover:

Life Skills and Education
Insights on the importance of education, the transition to college, and tips for academic success.

College Transition
Advice on preparing for and adjusting to life away from home, including managing independence and responsibilities.

Peer Pressure and Violence
Strategies for handling peer pressure, avoiding violence, and making positive choices.

Mental Health
Conversations on recognizing mental health issues, seeking help, and maintaining mental well-being.

Substance Abuse
Information on the dangers of substance abuse, prevention strategies, and support resources.

Self-Esteem and Self-Worth
Guidance on building and maintaining a positive self-image and understanding personal value.

Puberty and Sex Education
Education on the physical and emotional changes during puberty, as well as comprehensive sex education to promote informed and healthy decisions.

The panel will provide a safe and supportive environment for youth to ask questions, share experiences, and gain valuable knowledge from a variety of perspectives. This initiative aims to equip young people with the tools and information they need to navigate the challenges of adolescence and make informed, positive choices for their future.
